Excelente lugar! Súper céntrico y super cerca de las mejpres olas de la zona. Cocina bien equipada, el lugar acogedor y el personal extraordinario! Súper recomendado!!!

Lalo and yessi made me feel at home, the room is very comfortable and the wifi works perfect, I could work online without any problems and in the comfort of a lovely hammock. The location is perfect for surfing and you have all the most important things (atm, farmacy, restaurants) only a few steps away. I would happily stay here again 🙂

We had surf lessons this morning with Lalo, the hotel and school owner. It was a fantastic experience. My husband and 13 year old son were really excited to learn to surf, but I was very nervous. Lalo took his time, making sure we understood the techniques that would help us and keep us safe. He worked with all three of us to get comfortable with the board and by the end of the lesson, all three of us could stand up on the board (my husband and son caught on much faster than me). We chose Lalo for our surf lessons because he had great reviews, and he was also very responsive with my many questions. I’m so glad we did. He was patient, thorough, and extremely professional. We highly recommend him!

Surf School and Hotel in Santa Teresa

  • Hi, My name is Edgardo, and I am from Heredia. Many years ago I visited Santa Teresa and the Nicoya peninsula. A trip of a few days becomes an exodus to me. I fell in love with the surf lifestyle of both locals and foreigners that live in the zone.
     
    Santa Teresa is a place where everyone gets good vibes, everybody is friendly and always chilling. I wanted to be part of this so I decided to move here and start a career as a surf instructor.
    After working some years with surf camps, I decided it was time to develop my own teaching style. Then I founded my surf school where I use a blend of fun, safeness, awareness, respect, and teaching methodologies that are important to get the most out of every lesson.
     
    Along with my wife Jessica, I manage another business: The Cocobolo Hotel.
