About Cocobolo Hotel
  • Hi, my name is Jessica. I am the manager of the Cocobolo Hotel. My husband and I named it after the beautiful Cocobolo three, which wood is very appreciated because of its durability and quality.

    I am from Cobano and my life has been around Santa Teresa, Montezuma, Mal Pais, and almost all towns in the Nicoya peninsula.
    The Nicoya Peninsula is a hidden treasure in Costa Rica.

    Underdeveloped because it is far away from everything else, people who are looking for peace, nature, and the most beautiful beaches have found their place here.

    We think that Santa Teresa should be for everyone. When it comes to hotel development, most of it has been aimed toward expensive rates. We want to change that by offering an affordable and cozy place.

    People do not come to Santa Teresa to stay inside 4 walls. They come to explore, hike, surf, do SUP, visit Cabo Blanco, rent a quad, cycle, and do many other activities. Cocobolo Hotel is the place where you can leave your objects, cook, share, and sleep safely while between these activities Santa Teresa can offer.
